7.5.3.1 Executing SecureCMDLine Installer


  Executing the SecureCDMLine Installer:


When the SecureCMDLine Installer is executed without any parameter...


...it will locate the source file that needs update.


Considering the following directory structure where SecureCMDLine is executed (the Source sub-folder is present with the source file within)



We execute the SecureCMDLine Installer now with the -v parameter:




We see the SecureCMDLine Installer displaying more information such as:


▪the temporary file created which is the target file replica

▪the deletion of the original file (the backup flag was not set)

▪renaming of the temporary file into the new source file with the target file identical content
