We describe the file update procedure as being formed out of two transforms.
The second transform we call Secure Decoding. It is the process of applying the patch on the source file and creating a bit-by-bit identical file with the original target file used in Secure Encoding.
1st file: First file is the source file (initial file). This has to be an exact replica on your machine and on your client's machine. It is compared using stored fingerprinting information (in the securedelta file) and it has to be an identical match with the file that has been used to create the SecureDELTA binary diff in the first place.
2nd file: the Second file is always a SecureDELTA file or a Self-eXtracting Installer (SecurePATCHTM)
The output is the target file or a new file which is bit-by-bit idential with the target file used when creating the SecureDELTA binary diff.
Secure Decoding is simply the reverse transform of Secure Encoding.
