Secure ENCODING Process:

SecureENCODING Process:

We describe the file update procedure as being formed out of two transforms.

The first transform we call Secure Encoding, is the process of creating the a secured binary diff file. This transform ALWAYS happens on the TEST PC.

1st file: The first file is the source file (initial file). It can be any file, usually, an older version than the target file.

2nd file: The target file. It is a newer version of the initial (source) file.

This output file is not compressed but only encrypted. Further compression could be applied on this binary diff file.

We have carefuly chosen the encryption method to further allow any compression method to work with a minimum impact in speed and performance.
